Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution #04- <br />10-315 awarding the contract for Improvement Project #04-30 Bridge No. 02569 Rhinestone <br />Street to Redstone Construction in the amount of $999,279.30. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Kurak stated it is important to note that the assessments are <br />strictly within Town Center and not on the general public. Assistant Public Works Director <br />Olson responded that is correct. Councilmember Elvig noted the assessment is at 20 percent and <br />comes from RTC. The other monies will come from MSA funds. <br /> <br />Motion can'ied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to direct staff to award <br />the contract for construction services for S.A.P. 199-109-02 - Bridge No. 02569 to URS in the <br />amount of $119,927.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman, Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Commercial Development in Town Center <br /> <br />Councihnember Cook commented he has received several things in the mail stating there is more <br />residential development in Town Center currently happening than commercial development. He <br />would like to state the Town Center items approved tonight were all commercial. <br /> <br />2) Business Tour <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson noted the Business Tour will be tomorrow, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />3) Council Worksession <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson indicated there will not be a Council worksession held next <br />week due to the length of the Public Works Committee meeting planned.
