Motion by Member Gromberg, seconded by Member Kiefer, directing staff to research means Of additional. <br />funding to cover the costs of purchasing and relocation, find what the current lease amount is for the Morrell <br /> provide ideas on ways to handle the shortfall, and continue attempting to make contact with property <br />oWners to discuss the purchase of their property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Riley, Members, Anderson, Zimmerman, LeTourneau, stCffen, <br />Gromberg and Kiefer. Voting No: None. Absent: None <br /> <br />Case #4 Ramsey Newsletter for Business Community <br /> <br />Associate Planner, Wald reviewed the draft copy of the Ramsey Messenger with the EDA. Wald stated the " <br />newsletter was targeted to be delivered to the post office the week of October 28, 2002. <br /> <br />The EDA stated the newsletter was a good way to communicate to the business community and would <br />participate in writing articles for future publications. <br /> <br />Case #4 Staff Update <br /> <br />The EDA reviewed the staff update. TIF Specialist Sullivan stated the City Council would be reviewing the <br />Development Agreement for Panther Precision on October 22, 2002. <br /> <br />MEMBER INPUT <br /> <br />Chairperson Riley informed the EDA that the Town Center Task Force made a recommendation to the City <br /> :ouncil to place a one year moratorium on property located between U.S. Highway #10 and the railroad tracks <br /> 'om the Anoka/Ramsey border to Armstrong Blvd. Chairperson Riley explained the rational behind the <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Motion by Member Gromberg, seconded by Member LeToumeau to recommend the City Council place a one <br />year moratorium on property located between U.S. Highway #10 and the railroad' tracks, from the <br />Anoka/Ramsey Boarder to Armstrong Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Riley, Members, Anderson, Zimmerman, LeTourneau, Steffen, <br />'Gromberg and Kiefer. Voting No: None. Absent: None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />'Motion by Member Gromberg, seconded by Member Zimmerman, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />MOtion carried.
