Countdown to the tree lighting with <br /> Mayor Strommen and guests of honor, Girl Scout Troop 16479! Enjoy carols with Santa and the <br /> Northern Starz Children's Theatre. Then move into the City Hall lobby for cookies,hot chocolate, <br /> and pictures with Santa. Attached to this Weekly Update is the City of Ramsey <br /> Annual Tree Lighting Event flyer. <br /> City Improvement Project Updates <br /> • Riverdale Drive Extension - Traprock Street to Ramsey Boulevard <br /> Riverdale Drive is being extended through the Mississippi West Regional Park property, <br /> between Traprock Street and Ramsey Boulevard, to complete the south Highway 10 <br /> frontage road system between Llama Street and Tungsten Street. Work began in mid- <br /> September and is now substantially complete and the road is open to traffic. Final <br /> completion will occur in 2018. <br /> • Puma Street Utilities Extensions <br /> Trunk sanitary sewer and watermain is being extended along Puma Street,north of Bunker <br /> Lake Boulevard. Puma Street between Alpine Drive and Bunker.Lake Boulevard will be <br /> closed to traffic during construction,which is scheduled to be complete in January of 2018. <br /> Please pay close attention to your surroundings and avoid using cell phones while driving <br /> through work zones. An informal workshop has been <br /> scheduled to provide an opportunity to review a preliminary site plan design of a potential <br /> elementary school. Attached to the Weekly Update is a flyer for the Park <br /> System Plan Questionnaire. <br /> Save the Date: <br /> • PACT Pantherettes Dance Team Fundraiser- Monday, November 27, 5:00— 8:00 pm, <br /> Andover Pizza Ranch. The PACT Pantherettes Dance Team would like to invite members <br /> of the City Council and City staff to a fundraiser. They are asking everyone to please <br /> spread the word throughout our community. The funds raised will help the team defray <br /> costs of an assistant coach for the season,plus transportation to competitions, Sections and <br /> the State Tournament. The Pantherettes have made it to the State competition level three <br /> times and hope to continue the tradition! <br />
