CC Work Session 2. 2. <br />Meeting Date: 11/28/2017 <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Proposed AV Updates to City Hall Facilities <br />Purpose/Background: <br />This project has two main goals. The first goal is to expand the number of public meeting rooms that can utilize <br />audio-visual equipment from three to five. The second goal is to update rooms, which are currently equipped with <br />Audio/Visual equipment, with now standard features such as HDMI connections, wireless presentation, and <br />interactive panels for room scheduling. <br />Timeframe: <br />Funding Source: <br />QCTV Fund. Dollars are allocated to Ramsey for AV upgrades in public meeting spaces on an irregular lump -sum <br />basis. Ramsey has about $70,000 available for this project, within the QCTV Fund. <br />Quotes for the project were obtained from Diversified, Tierney Brothers, and Provision Media. Staff recommends <br />Tierney Brothers to take on the project due to their reasonable pricing, professional service, and their expertise. <br />Responsible Party(ies): <br />IT Department <br />Vendor <br />Various staff power users (consulting only) <br />Outcome: <br />When all rooms are complete, City Hall will be fitted with two additional AV -ready, public meeting rooms. <br />Existing rooms will have their existing capabilities expanded - much of the existing equipment equipment will stay <br />in place.
