On September 12, 2017, the City Council approved a framework of a deviation from the Anoka <br />County street name grid. This step is the official process to change the names on the plat that was already recorded <br />(first phase of Riverstone). Moving forward, the City will not need to do a follow up ordinance for street names; <br />amended street names will simply be incorporated in future plats for subsequent phases. <br />For background, the original case from September 12, 2017 is attached. <br />Notification: <br />Notification is not required. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />The approved street name amendments are as follows (as it pertains to Riverstone only): <br />(Grid Name 'Approved Name <br />IQuagga Street 'Quintana Street <br />'Rabbit Street 'Rabbit Street <br />Sloth Street 'Snowy Owl Street <br />'Tiger Street 'Tiger Street <br />Funding Source: <br />All costs associated with processing the application are the responsibility of the Applicant. There are no occupied <br />dwellings on these streets at this time, so no impacts to existing residents or businesses will be experienced. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends approval of the ordinance <br />Action: <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance # 17-18 amending street names in the Riverstone subdivision. <br />
