Case #1:

Presentation by Hoisington Koegler, Group Regarding Options For
Development Of A Wetland Buffer Ordinance For The City Of Ramsey

Ms. Frolik explained that she talked to Loren Gordon earlier in the evening and he was emailing
the draft contract for the EPTF review. Apparently there are technical problems because she has
not received the document.

Vice Chairperson Max suggested that when Ms. Frolik receives the document, she should email
it to the EPTF members and Councilmember Strommen for review and comment. The Task
Force and Ms. Strommen should get their comments to Sylvia as soon as possible so that the
document may be finally executed.

TASK FORCE INPUT

Mr. Olds inquired as to the status of converting this task force into a permanent advisory
committee to City Council.

Conncihnember Strommen replied that she and Chairperson Joe McDilda met with Mr. Norman
and Ms. Frolik regarding this issue. As a result, there will be a discussion regarding the
formation of a permanent Environmental Quality Commission on the October 19 City Council
Work Session agenda.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Committee Member Olds and seconded by Committee Member Sitz to adjourn the
meeting.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Max and Committee Members Sitz and Olds.
Absent: Chairperson McDilda and Committee Members Bauer and Connolly. Voting No:
None.

The meeting adjourned at 6:51 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Sylvia Frolik
Community Development Director

EPTF October 18, 2004
