10 Minutes CASE #9: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A SMALL ENGINE AND AUTO <br />REPAIR BUSINESS IN TME R-IR RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; CASE OF MIKE EASON <br /> By: Acting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Eason is requesting a conditional use permit to operate a small <br />engine and auto repair business in the R-IR Residential District on the <br />property located at 15850 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. and owned by Mr. Ron <br />Fischl. Mr. Eason's partner in the business would be Mr. Steve Bjerke. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Site plan <br />d) Proposed findings of fact <br />e) Proposed conditional use permit <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Building Official has reviewed the request and recommended that the <br />accessory structure in which the business activty will take place comply <br />with current state and local codes for a B-1 repair shop with no welding or <br />a H-4 repair shop with welding. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on October 4, <br />at which time no opposition was expressed. The Commission recommended <br />adoption of the proposed findings of fact and approval of Mr. Eason's <br />request with the permit being issued jointly to Mike Eason, Steve Bjerke <br />and Ron Fischl. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Findings of Fact __ <br />conditional use permit. <br /> <br />relating to Mr. Mike Eason's request for a <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve/deny Mr. Mike Eason's request for a conditional use permit to <br />operate a small engine and auto repair business on the property of Mr. <br />Mr. Ronald Fischl located 15850 St. Francis.
