10 Minutes CASE 410: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE AN AUTO AND LAWNMOWER <br />REPAIR BUSINESS IN ~11E R-1R RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; CASE OF CERALD ROOT <br />By: Acting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background; <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Root is requesting a conditional use permit to operate an auto <br />and lawmover repair business from his home at 16208 Coquina Street N.W. <br />This property is located in the R-IR Residential District and repair shops <br />are not a permitted use. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Site plan <br />d) Proposed findings of fact <br />e) Proposed conditional use permit <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The Building Official has reviewed the request and recommended that the <br />garage in which the repair activity will take place comply with current <br />state and local codes for a B-1 repair shop with no welding or an H-4 <br />repair shop with welding. <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on October 4, <br />at which time no opposition was expressed.
