City Administrator David Hartley informed Mr. Wilson that there was a minimum value established in the <br />Development Agreement for the apartment building to be constructed. <br /> <br />D,qvi0 & Kerry Jarvis - 17918 Erkium Street - 01-32-25-22-0014 - <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Jarvis stated that they purchased their home in September 1987 at a price of $74,000. They wanted to <br />know the reason why the 1989 assessed valuation was $77,300. No action needs to be taken. <br /> <br />Harley A. Gordon - 18030 Baugh Street- 06-32-25-21-0004 - <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon inquired as to the reason for his taxes going up so much even though he split off some for a <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />Mr. Wirz discovered that he was not given "Green Acres" agricultural credit on his 27 acres. Mr. Starkey at Ant)ka <br />County will rectify the situation. <br /> <br />Michael & Faith Ticnlq:r - 17720 Baugh Street - 06-32-25-24-0009 -Mr. & Mrs. Tienter asked the reason why their <br />property was assessed for $79,300, which is less than they paid for it. They merely wanted to know if the property <br />was worth what they paid. No action needs to be taken. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Mayor Rcimann summarized that the general trend seemed to be questions regarding the 3% index adjustment. <br />Councilmember Cich asked Mr. Starkey of Anoka County where Ramsey was in the range for Anoka County <br />assessments. Mr. Starkey said that assessed values in Ramsey was within 92% to 93% of fair market values. <br /> <br />Mr. Starkey also noted that the property owners can appeal to Anoka County if they feel that they need to go beyond <br />the City level. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called for a recess at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the meeting back to order at 9:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Tom Roof - 14369 Waco Street - Mr. Roof felt that it would be fair for the value to remain the same at S185,000. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to a~ust the assessed value to <br />185,000. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, DeLuca, Cich and Pearson. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Jcanine Duff - 16400 St. Frgncis Bo01¢vard - Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson for Anoka County to assess her property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, Peterson, Cich and DeLuca. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />David O ri ffin - 14125 Argon S ~'ee[ - Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />to adjust value to 3% above base of $74,000. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
