Board of Adjustment public hearing minutes dated March 23, 1989 <br />regarding the City of Ramsey's request for a variance from the Rum <br />River setback requirements. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment regular meeting minutes dated March 23, <br />t989. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Shumway, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Zimmerman and Terry. Voting No: None. Abstain: Commissioners <br />Hendriksen. <br /> <br />BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request For A Variance From Front Yard Setback <br /> Requirements; Case Of Mr. Glen Rychner: <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to <br />add Item #18 indicating that the applicant has informed the Board of Adjustment <br />that adjoining property owners do not oppose the application nor has the Board <br />received notice of opposition' from any other property owners. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Shumway, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Terry, LaDue and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />amend Item #13 to indicate that the unique circumstances do not result from the <br />actions of the Applicant because the home was built by a developer for speculation <br />and purchased by the Applicant's now current spouse. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Shumway, Commissioners Zimmerman, <br />Terry, LaDue and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendfiksen and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to <br />adopt Findings of Fact 4/0253 relating to Mr. Glen Rychner's request for a variance <br />from front yard setback requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Shumway, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Zimmerman and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Terry to <br />approve Mr. Glen Rychner's request for a variance from front yard setback <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
