COMMISSION BUSINESS Case #1: Anoka .~VI Air Traffic Control Program (Presentation by Nuri S. Hassumani, Director of Anoka, T.V.I. Mr. Hassumani stated that there is a need for more air traffic controllers who are adequately trained. A.T.V.I. has a two year program for air traffic control for students, who would then go on to F.A.A. owned facilities such as the one in Oklahoma City. The F.A.A. or State of Minnesota would inform the A.T.V.I. which airport it would be conducted from and how it would be conducted. The precise location of these classes is still in the discussion stages and nothing is defined at this point in time. The F.A.A. would prefer that proposals be submitted at the State level as a joint effort. Mr. Hassumani prefers that we do not take any action on our own and advises us to contact the State Board to keep advised of the situation. Motion by Commissioner Gorecki and seconded by Commissioner Ippel for Chairman Wagner and Commissioner Ippel to meet with Mr. Ken Patz and Mr. Joe Grabel, Director of the Minnesota T.V.I. system to gather more information. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Gorecki, Ippel, Greenberg, Hardin, Vevea, and Muller. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Fults and Kurak. ~ Discussion of Imnlementation Plan for Highway 10 Study This case was tabled until the next regular meeting. Case #3: Subcommittee Re~orts This case was tabled until the next regular meeting. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Commissioner Muller and seconded by Commissioner Goreeki to adjourn the regular meeting of the Economic Development Commission. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Muller, Gorecki, Ippel, Greenberg, Hardin and, Vevea. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Fults and Kurak.
