gunflower Ridge (Oakwood Land Development) <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated the City received a request to change the land use from low <br />density residential to medium density residential. The Planning Commission recommended the <br />land use change unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Mayor Gamec, to adopt Resolution #02-02- <br />062 approving an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use from low <br />density residential to medium density residential, and authorize staff to submit the <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment to the Met Council (Oakwood Land Development). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: Councilmember Hendriksen. <br /> <br />South of Highway 10 (Anoka/Ramse¥ Border) <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that the City received a request to change the land use from <br />"Places to Shop" to "Places to Work". The Planning Commission recommended the land use <br />change unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to adopt Resolution #02-02- <br />063 approving an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use from "Places to <br />Shop" to "Places to Work" and authorize staff to submit the Comprehensive Plan amendment to <br />the Met Council Property south of Highway #10 at Anoka Border). <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the change would exclude the <br />businesses that currently exist. Principal Planner Trudgeon replied no. Councilmember <br />Anderson inquired if is some of the area is currently zoned R-1. Principal Planner Trudgeon <br />replied yes. Councilmember Anderson noted that a 4/5ths vote would be required for rezoning. <br />Councilmember Hendriksen replied that that is the problem with adopting a Comprehensive Plan <br />on a 3/5tbs vote. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, and <br />Kurak. Voting No: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />TSM Property <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon stated that the Council was considering a land use change from <br />"Places to Work" to Low Density Residential.
