Consensus of the Council was that they were in support of the event, but were not in a position to <br />grant final approval at that time. <br /> <br />Councihnember Hendriksen inquired if there had been any discussions regarding the fire works <br />display and the close proximity to the highway. <br /> <br />Mr. Gruber replied that there have been many discussions with the Police Chief regarding that <br />issue. It will be an issue that will have to be watched and patrolled, but the Police Chief has <br />indicated that there are a lot of other cities that have similar events in close proximity to the <br />highway. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Jan Pomeroy, 5430 - 154t~' Lane NW, Ramsey, thanked the Council and staff for being involved <br />with the School District regarding the bussing issues. She requested that the Council consider <br />writing a letter to the County requesting that a four-way stop be installed at Alpine Drive and <br />C.R. #5 to provide a safe zone for the children to cross, currently there is only a two-way stop. <br />The other area of concerns is Sunwood Drive and C.R. #5. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the Council would address the issue under Mayor and Council Input. <br /> <br />Lance Raygor, 6194 - 146th Avenue NW, requested that Case #14 be moved up on the agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recommended moving Case #14 to Case #6a. <br /> <br />APPROVEAGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman requested that Case #16 MPCA Acquisition, and Case #17 Alloy <br />Recovery Purchase be added to the agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requested Case #14 be moved to Case #6a. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
