Amendment to Subdivision <br /> Ordinance <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 77- <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 75-5 ADOPTED MAY 12, 1975, ENTITLED "AN <br />ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPREHENSIVE PLATTING AND REGULATIONS FOR THE LAYING OUT <br />OF STREETS, ALLEYS, AND OTHER PUBLIC GROUNDS AND THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND ESTABLISHING <br />THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION PLATS WITHIN THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY GRANTED BY STATE LAW AND PROVIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE." <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. <br /> <br /> Section 8 of the Ordinance No. 75-5, adopted May 12, 1975, and entitled "An <br />Ordinance establishing comprehensive platting and regulations for the laying out of <br />streets, alleys, and other public grounds and the subdivision of land establishing <br />the requirements for the approval of subdivision plats within the City of Ramsey, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota, pursuant to the authority granted by state law and providing <br />penalties for the violation of this ordinance" is amended to include the following: <br /> <br />8.08 Individual Sewage Disposal System Site Evaluation and ReQuirements. <br /> <br /> a. All lots proposed for individual sewage treatment systems shall be evaluated <br />by the Ramsey Plumbing Inspector in accordance with this section and in accordance <br />with the City of Ramsey Ordinance No. 77- , known as "An Ordinance establishing <br />minimum requirements for the incorporation and reservation of adequate areas of soils <br />conducive to sewage disposal from septic systems into lots and parcels created by the <br />subdivision of land." <br /> <br /> b. Prior to preliminary plat approval, and in addition to the sketch plan re- <br />quirement of Section 5 of Ordinance No. 75-5, the subdivider shall file a preliminary <br />sketch plan of the parcel to be subdivided which shall contain the following information: <br /> <br /> (1) All legal setback requirements from existing and proposed buildings; property <br />lines; sewage tanks; soil treatment areas~ water supply wells; buried water pipes and <br />utility lines; lakes; rivers; streams; large trees; and the location of all such <br />improvements on adjoining lots within 150 feet of the site~ <br /> <br />(2) Slope; <br /> <br />(3) The existence of lowlands and local surface depressions; <br /> <br />(4) Depth to the seasonal high ground water table; <br /> <br />(5) Soil conditions, properties and permeability; <br /> <br />(6) Surface water flooding probability. <br /> <br />c. The evaluation shall begin with evaluation of the data contained on the <br /> <br />-1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
