Anoka, Minnesota 55303 Dear Phil: Please find enclosed our staff's comments on Ramsey's proposed compre- hensive plan amendment. ~ hope they cover satisfactorily all of the matters we discussed at the meeting on December 28, 1976. If there are any re- maining questions or concerns please give me a call. We are tentatively scheduled to bring these comments before the Council's Physical Development Committee on February 17 at its afternoon meeting. Despite the final recommendation that the plan is inconsistent with Metro- politan Council policies, we do feel that the City of Ramsey has made tremendous progress in its planning. Some of the differences we have with the plan, such as the timing of the CAB interceptor and of the county bridge improvement, were resolved, t believe, at our last meeting and you intend to make appropriate changes in the plan. Our major disagreement continues to be ~vith the transition area, and here we have laid out some constructive suggestions for modifying the city's plan to bring it more in line with Metro- politan Council policies.
