2.1 <br /> <br />2.2 <br /> <br />2.3 <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br />ZONING MAP AND DISTRICTS <br /> <br />ZONING ~{AP: A map entitled "City of Ramsey Zoning ~ap" is <br />hereby adopted as part of this Ordinance. It remains on <br />file at the City Hall. <br /> <br />DEVELOPMENT AREAS: The city is divided into three (3) develop- <br />ment areas shown by the area boundaries on the zoning map. <br />The development areas are: <br /> <br />1. 1990 Urban Area <br />2. Transition Area <br />3. Rural Service Area <br /> <br />ZONING DISTRICTS: In addition to being divided into three (3) <br />development areas, the city is also divided into zoning districts <br />as shown by the district boundaries on-the zoning map. The <br />districts are: <br /> <br />R-t Residential - The general intent of this district <br /> is to accommodate single family residential homes <br />UER Urban Existing Residential - The general intent <br /> of this district is to accommodate single family <br /> residential homes. <br />UR Urban Residential - The general intent of this district <br /> is to accommodate single family residential homes. <br />UMB Urban Multiple and Business - The general intent of <br /> this district is to accommodate medium density <br /> residential housing, offices and personal use type <br /> business, all intended to act as a periphery zone <br /> to the UB district. <br />UMB-1 Urban Multiple and Business, excluding residential <br /> housing - The general intent of this district is to <br /> accommodate offices and personal use type business, <br /> excluding residential housing, which district is <br /> intended to act as a periphery zone to the UB district. <br />UB Urban Business - The general intent of this district <br /> is to accommodate retail homeowner oriented shopping <br /> facilities, with an emphasis on that type of retail <br /> business which sells a product to the final consumer. <br />B-1 Business - The general intent of this district is to <br /> accommodate ~eneral commercial activities. <br />UC Urban Conservation - The general intent of this <br /> district is to preserve ~marginal lowland and <br /> · water features." Only very low deAsity housing Shall <br /> be permitted in this district. <br />I-1 Industrial - The general intent of this~'diStrict is <br /> to accommodate general industrial activity. <br />ROS Rural Open Space - The general intent of this district <br /> is to preserve as totally open space 6hg land in <br /> this district. · <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
