Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #17-12-312 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE TEMPORARY ICE RINK ATTENDANTS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Temporary Ice Rink Attendants to supervise and <br />perform various tasks at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School ice rinks, warming houses <br />and grounds for approximately 10 weeks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recruited for, interviewed, and selected qualified candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, all candidates passed the pre -employment screening; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring Michael Baldus, Mitchell Barr, Jordan DeRosa, <br />Emma Hoekman, Brooke Holloway, John Jelinek, and Robert Larson, as Temporary Ice Rink <br />Attendants, all within the Rink Attendant pay scale which is $9.50 to $10.00 per hour; effective <br />December 13, 2017. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #17-12-312 to hire the following employees: Michael Baldus, <br />Mitchell Barr, Jordan DeRosa, Emma Hoekman, Brooke Holloway, John Jelinek, and <br />Robert Larson, as Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within the Rink Attendant pay scale <br />which is $9.50 to $10.00 per hour; effective December 13, 2017. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
