Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #17-12-303 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2018 CITY OF RAMSEY GENERAL FUND <br />OPERATING BUDGET <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the annual budget of the City of Ramsey for the fiscal year beginning January 1, <br />2018 is hereby adopted for the General Fund as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Revenues: <br />Property Taxes $ 9,400,242 <br />Licenses and Permits 512,750 <br />Intergovernmental Revenues 359,750 <br />Charges for Services 710,244 <br />Fines and Forfeitures 68,700 <br />Other Revenues - <br />Interest Earnings 70,000 <br />Miscellaneous 31,000 <br />Other Financing Sources 970,598 <br />Total Revenues $ 12.123.284 <br />Operating and Capital Expenditures: <br />General Government $ 3,355,433 <br />Public Safety 5,099,197 <br />Public Works 2,250,249 <br />Parks and Recreation 1,241,950 <br />Contingency 57,000 <br />Other Financing Uses 119,455 <br />Total Operating and Capital Expenditures $12.123.284 <br />2) That the City Finance Director be directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to <br />the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Wednesday, December 28, 2017. <br />3) That all contractual agreements contained within the 2018 General Fund Budget will be <br />considered ratified. <br />4) That all itemized capital equipment purchases contained within the 2018 General Fund <br />Budget will be considered ratified. <br />
