ORDINANCE #04-43 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 <br />WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MIN- <br />NESOTA. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- <br />TION 9.02 (DEFINITIONS) AND SECTION <br />9.20.11 (R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) OF <br />THE CITY CODE. <br /> The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. SU/~d~_~_ <br /> The following official summary of <br />Ordinance #04-43 has been approved by <br />the City Council of the City of Ramsey as <br />clearly informing the public of the intent <br />and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> It is the intent and effect of Ordi- <br />nance //04-43 to amend Ramsey City <br />Code Chapter 9 (Zoning and Subdivi- <br />sion of Land), Section 9.02 (Definitions) <br />to include a definition of 'ornamental <br />fence', and Section 9.20.11 (R-1 Residen- <br />tial District) to: a) clarify that townhome <br />PUD's will be subject to R-2 Residential <br />performance standards; b) expand the <br />list of conditional uses to include cell <br />towers in the tower overlay district and <br />commercial greenhouses with buildings; <br />c) increase driveway openings from 20 <br />feet to 30 feet; 24 feet on cul-de-sacs; d) <br />permit 1 driveway per street frontage in <br />the MUSA district; e) clarify that the front <br />yard setback in the rural districts are sub- <br />ject to the setback of the principal struc- <br />ture; f) eliminate the sub-items dealing <br />with 'parking', 'screening', and 'streets' <br />as they apply to multi-family districts. <br /> SECTION 2.
