Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #17-11-290 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF SIDEWALK EASEMENTS FROM MORNING SUN HOMES, INC. IN THE VISTAS AT NORTH COMMONS PLAT AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LANDSCAPE PLAN WHEREAS, four (4) lots within the plat known as Vistas at North Commons have portions of a public sidewalk encroaching on them and thus a sidewalk easement for each encroachment is needed; and WHEREAS, D.R. Horton has submitted the required easement exhibits; and WHEREAS, Morning Sun Homes, Inc. has requested an amendment to the approved Landscape Plan to allow the use of sod along the existing trail rather than a seed mix; and WHEREAS, the Environmental Policy Board reviewed the requested Landscape Plan amendment at their November meeting. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the conveyance of a Sidewalk Easement from Morning Sun Homes, Inc., over a portion portions of Lots 1, 10, 11, and 12, Block 1, Vistas at North Commons and authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the easement. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves of the requested amendment to the approved Landscape Plan to allow the use of sod rather than a seed mix along the existing trail corridor. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Strommen Councilmember LeTourneau Councilmember Kuzma Councilmember Johns Councilmember Shryock and the following voted against the same: None
