<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-10-270 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />#18-03, 2018 OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay numerous street segments in 2018 <br />for the purpose of maintaining these streets as cost-effectively as possible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey proposes to assess benefiting properties up to 25- <br />percent of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, the City <br />Charter, and the City’s adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the proposed improvements, designated as Improvement Project No. 18-03, be <br />referred to the City Engineer for study, and that the City Engineer is instructed to report <br />to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether <br />they should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement; <br />the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; and a description of the <br />methodology used to calculate individual assessments for benefitted properties. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Srommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br />
