Counc/]member Van Wagner introduced the following resolotion and moved <br />for /ts adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-194 <br /> <br />RESOLU'FION REQUESTING GRANT ASSISTANCE FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metro Council provides local planning assistance <br />grant funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been informed by the Metro <br />Council to apply for local planning assistance grant fund to help cover <br />the cost of the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey apply to the Metro Council for <br />]oca] planning assistance grant funds which will be used to cover a por- <br />tion of the cost in developing the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> 2) It further authorizes either Mayor Thomas Gamec or City <br />Adm/nistrator/Clerk Lloyd G. Schnelle to sign any of the required docu- <br />ments in the execution of the above requested grant. <br /> <br />The mot/on for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Counc/lmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec , Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Re/mann <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 22nd day of December, 1981. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
