METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br />Suite 300 Metro Square Building, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101 <br /> <br />September 4, 1981 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Physical Development Committee <br /> <br />Comprehensive Planning Division (Bob Mazanec, Tom Caswell) <br />Status of Plan Reviews <br /> <br />At its meeting on September 3, 1981, the Physical Development Committee <br />reviewed the Status of Plan Reviews report. Since that time, staff has revised <br />the recommendations so that the application of the guidelines will be more <br />equitable to the communities involved. The original two recommendations were: <br /> <br />A. That the Council deal with suspended plan reviews in the following way: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Those local governments which have provided estimates of when new <br />information will be submitted to satisfy a suspension should be <br />notified that the date will be considered final by the Council. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Those local units which have not provided estimates should be <br />notified that they have two months from the date of suspension or 30 <br />days from adoption of these guidelines, whichever is later, to comply. <br /> <br />These have been consolidated into one recommendation, as follows: <br /> <br />A.
