I <br /> <br />035.2 <br /> <br />035.3 <br /> <br />All planning efforts in Ramsey have occurred since 1973 when <br />the first Comprehensive Plan was formulated for the townshlp. <br />A zoning ordinance was adopted to 'help= implement the Plan. <br />Since its incorporation in November 1974, other planning <br />studies have been prepared including a platting ordinancet a <br />Comprehensive Sewer Plan, an Urban Planning District studyt <br />a zoning ordinance which would implement the Urban Planning <br />District Study, and a Comprehensive Park Plan. The Urban <br />Planning District Study and the Park Plan are under review by <br />the Metropolitan Council staff at this time. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Policy Plan. As the plans for Ramsey have recently <br />been prepared~ only those elements would be addressed that are <br />required by the 1976 Metropolitcm Land Plahnlng Act and are not <br />included in the previous reports or that are required in the <br />Critical Areas legislation. Most significant of these would be <br />more specific Policy definition in all areas of planning, a <br />Housing element, Resources and Critical Areas, Rum River Man- <br />agement Plan, with Implementation amendments, and a Capital <br />Improvements Progrcrn. <br /> <br />Implementation. A Capital Improvements Program together <br />with draft regulation changes are to be prepared. <br /> <br />The Plan will include the elements and tasks specifically defined <br />in the Series 100 through 700 outline. <br /> <br />040 Publication <br /> 041 <br /> 041.1 <br /> <br />Prel iminary Drafts <br /> <br />The Resource Element series 100, 200 and 300, will be published <br />as a uniform report for local consideration and modification for <br />all Four communities. <br /> <br />Preliminary drafts will be prepared as a Planning Resource <br />Element of each local plan and included in the notebook <br />format defined in Series 021. <br /> <br />Twenty-five (25) copies of such preliminary resource sections <br />will be prepared without color for each community. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br /> <br />
