Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN RECRUITMENT <br /> PROCESSES FOR NEW POSITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for several months the City Council has been discussing the 2005 <br />budget and plans to hire for several new positions; and <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these new positions have been approved as part of the 2005 budget; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment processes <br />for these positions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br /> Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment processes to hire an Assistant <br /> Finance Officer, Public Works Maintenance Workers (2), Building Inspectors (2), <br /> Patrol Officer and other increases in personnel as indicated in the 2005 budget. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 14th day of December, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
