The work being addressed at this time came fi.om a plan that was <br />suggested by a ¢orlain developer to come forward and extend sewer and water to certain areas. <br />That is thc reason riley are undertaking this and the public needs to understand this. <br /> <br />Councihncmbcr Elvig stated Itc became involved with the Council for several reasons. One of <br />thc main reasons was that hc wante~t to help steer the City into smart growth,: and getting in front <br />of the i)rcssurc alq&] demand was o];o o£ the.issues. He thinks the feasibility study is something <br />they have to look at. There arc oth~:r components that go with that. There are some things they <br />already km)w regarding this issue. Thc Parks Commission has been doing a ga'eat job for years <br />getting iclcas about parks, trails and green area, and staffhas been working on this for years.
