Implement the Highway 10 Access Planning Study. <br />2. Complete Corridor Studies for Trunk Highway 47 (Saint Francis Boulevard) and Anoka County State Aide Highway 5 (Nowthen Bouelvard). <br />3. Complete Corridor Study for Anoka County Road 63 and 27. <br />4. Consider an additional east/west connection in the northern section of our community. <br />5. Complete Collector Road improvements in and around The COR. <br />6. Proactively advocate for funding for regional roadway systems. <br />7. Consider alternative road designs where appropriate. <br />A safe and efficient non -motorized transportation system throughout community <br />STRATEGIES: <br />1. Update standard requirements for road and trail design for road reconstruction projects and future developments to ensure capacity to <br />accommodate automobiles, pedestrians, and bicyclists. <br />2. Complete the Master Parks and Trail Plan to ensure adequate pedestrian and bicyclist connectivity. <br />3. Secure funding for transportation projects such as additional trails, bike paths, and pedestrian connections. <br />4. Include a review of infrastructure, including parking for walking and other non -motorized transportation modes when reviewing any <br />transportation improvement projects <br />5. Advocate affordable, dependable and efficient means of public transit in the community <br />6. Continue efforts to establish the Mississippi River regional trail. <br />7. Explore options for constructing a pedestrian bridge over Highway 10 and the Mississippi River (Mississippi Skyway) <br />8. Ensure trail connections to transit stops, employment centers, shopping and other services <br />Connectivity with regional transportation corridors and transit <br />STRATEGIES: <br />1. Officially map parcels impacted by the Highway 10 Access Planning Study and Future Mississippi River Crossing (Armstrong Boulevard) <br />2. Collaborate with adjacent communities and county, state, and federal agencies on the planning, design and construction of regional <br />transportation projects <br />3. Establish numerous, efficient, affordable transportation connections, both within and Ramsey and connecting to other communities, that <br />include multi -modal transportation choices <br />4. Continue involvement in the Northstar Corridor Marketing Group <br />5. Market the municipal parking facility as a park -and -ride opportunity <br />6. Develop an affordable, efficient, and reliable transit system that includes commuter rail and bus capabilities <br />7.
