Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to authorize the <br />Schematic Design Proposal (consulting team of Bruce Jacobson and LHB) at a not to exceed cost <br />of $30,000, with a $5,000 contingency to complete concept designs and feasibility reports for the <br />two park spaces in The COR. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Shryock, Johns, Kuzma, <br />LeTourneau, and Riley. Voting No: None. <br />7.09: Consider Adopting Resolution #17-12-316 Ordering Plans and Specifications for <br />Improvement Project 18-05, Bunker Lake Boulevard and Puma Street <br />Improvements <br />City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution #17- <br />12-316 ordering Plans and Specifications for Improvement Project #18-05, Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard and Puma Street Improvements. <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked for the exhibit to be displayed for the benefit of the public <br />viewing the meeting. <br />City Engineer Westby displayed the aerial photograph, identifying the proposed improvement <br />area. <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked the funding source. <br />City Engineer Westby replied that TIF and Anoka County HRA funds would be used for the <br />project. <br />Councilmember Riley asked if those funds would be used for the feasibility report. <br />City Engineer Westby explained the assessment agreement that was reached, noting that these <br />funding sources (TIF and Anoka County HRA) would be used to cover the City's portion of the <br />funds for both the engineering and construction costs. <br />Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to Adopt <br />Resolution #17-12-316 Ordering Plans and Specifications for Improvement Project #18-05, <br />Bunker Lake Boulevard and Puma Street Improvements. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Shryock, LeTourneau, Johns, <br />Kuzma, and Riley.
