Clerk at a startlng wage of $15.9335/hour plus benefits and two weeks vacation, <br />contingent upon successful completion of background checks, employment physical, and <br />drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Authorize Hiring of Clerk I1 <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-05- <br />119 authorizing the hiring of Nanci Libor for the position of full-time Clerk II at a <br />starting wage of $15.2059/hour plus benefits and two weeks vacation, contingent upon <br />successful completion of background checks, employment physical, and drug/alcohol <br />screen. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Accept Resignation of Crime Prevention Specialist Intern and Authorize Hiring of <br />Crime Prevention Specialist Intern <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-05- <br />120 authorizing the hiring of Jennifer Furan as the Crime Prevention Specialist Intern at a <br />wage of $10.00 per hour for an initial period not to exceed six months contingent upon <br />successful completion of drug/alcohol screening. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #15: Report from the Finance Committee <br /> <br />The Finance Committee met on May 14, 2002 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Authorize an Aerial Ladder Truck Specifications and Solicit Bids <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council accept the specifications and <br />allow the soliciting of bids. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman.
