BAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF TRORP FINANCE <br /> By: Acting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Thorp Finance is requesting approval to rezone Lots 2 and 3, Block 5, <br />Riverside West, from B-1 Business to R-1U Residential. The plat of <br />Riverside West consists of a combination of zones, B-1 Business and R-1U <br />Residential. Thorp Finance has stated that they have been unsuccessful in <br />marketing Lots 2 and 3 of Block 5 as B-1 Business because of the presence <br />of residential lots in that plat. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Excerpt from zoning map <br />c) Proposed findings of fact <br />d) Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Ob s ervat ions: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on November 1 <br />and no opposition was expressed regarding the request.
