REQUEST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF RIVERVIEW ESTATES; <br /> CASE OF TODD AND RANDY ELOFSON <br /> By: Acting Zonin§ Administrator Merland Otto <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Messrs. Todd and Randy Elofson are requesting final plat approval of their <br />proposed Riverview Estates located south of Hwy. ~10 N.W. and west of the <br />proposed extension of Sunfish Lake Blvd. N.W. The northern portion of the <br />plat will be developed commercially and the southern portion of the plat <br />consists of six single family residential lots along the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Proposed final plat <br />b) City Engineer's report (will be available at the meeting) <br />c) Proposed resolution <br /> <br />Ob servati ons: <br /> <br />As you recall, City Council granted preliminary plat approval of Riverview <br />Estates on October 25, 1988 contingent upon EQB and DNR approval of <br />Ramsey's proposed amendment to the Critical Rivers Ordinance. Final <br />comments from EQB and DNR have not yet been received; final plat approval <br />would have to be with the same contingency. Council also determined that <br />park dedication requirements will consist of a cash payment in accordance <br />with park dedication requirements in effect at the time of subdivision <br />application, acquiring an additional 3 feet of right-of-way adjacent to <br />existing street right-of-way, and constructing an 8 foot wide bituminous <br />trail the length of the property. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Resolution #88-.. approving/denying the final plat of Riverview <br />Estates contingent upon DNR and EQB approval of Ramsey's proposed <br />amendment to the Critical River Ordinance. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Acting Zoning Administrator <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
