5 Minutes Case ~ 9: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF RAMSEY RIDGE <br />CASE OF MR. MEL BOSER <br /> <br />By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Mel Boser is requesting final plat approval of a minor subdivision <br />of Ramsey Ridge. The subdivision will split a 20-acre parcel located <br />on the east side of Variolite Street N.W. between 171st and 173rd <br />Avenues N.W. into two 10-acre parcels. Mr. Boser is proposing that <br />the parcels will have a common access from Variolite Street N.W. <br /> <br />This plat was previously approved on February 24, 1988 contingent upon <br />a 66' easement being provided between the two parcels and another 66' <br />easement provided from the center division to the north boundary of <br />the plat. Subsequently, another plat was prepared on this same <br />property and approved on October 27, 1987 with six residential lots. <br />Neither of the plats have been filed. Since more than 120 days have <br />elapsed following plat approval, the City Council must reapprove the <br />final plat. <br /> <br />Enclosed are the following items for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Proposed plat <br /> c) Proposed resolution approving plat <br />d) Proposed development agreement <br /> e) Minutes approving the plat on February 24, 1987. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />I Would recommend reapproval of the final plat contingent on the <br />easements being provided and pa}~ent of park fees based on the current <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adcp% Resolution .'--'SS-_ approving the final plat of Ramsey Ridge. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Co~m..
