Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> <br />As you know, Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. invoked the <br />arbitration provision of its Construction Contract relating to a <br />construction contract dispute with the City on the River's Bend <br />Plaza Site Improvement Project. <br /> <br />After a day of testimOny and written final arguments, the <br />~rbitrator has found against the City in the amount of $13,800.00 <br />plus $848.99 administration costs and interest. Arbitration <br />procedures do not permit an appeal. In addition, the arbitrator <br />is not required to set forth his findings and/or reasoning <br />forming the basis of his decision.
