5 Minutes <br /> <br /> CONSIDER CHANGING DATES OF <br /> [iOYEMBER cITY COUNCIL MEETINGS <br />By: Dave Martley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br />The City Council meetings scheduled for November fall on November 8, 1988 and <br />November 22, 1988. November 8, 1988, as most of you are aware, is Election <br />Day, and the Ramsey Municipal Center is not available until after 8:00 p.m. for <br />any meetings. Furthermore, the facility will be used by election judges for <br />quite some time thereafter. Additionally, you will note that November has five <br />Tuesdays in the month which may make it possible to shift the second Council <br />meeting as well as the first Council meeting. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />It is my recommendation that the City Council h01d its regular meetings for <br />November on November 15, 1988 and' November 29, 1988 to avoid the November <br />General Election. <br /> <br />Council A~tion: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Reschedule the November regular City Council meetings from November 8, <br />1988 and November 22, 1988 to November 15, 1988 and November 29, 1988 <br />respectively. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator X <br />At t orney -- <br />Enginee. r <br />Communzty Development Director _ <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
