Councilmember Hendriksen reviewed the Finance Committee recommendation that the <br />City Council authorize the City Administrator to accept the bid and award the contract for <br />remodeling the Ramsey City Hall to Braun Built Construction in the amount of $96,580. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Finance Committee for Cases 1 through 2. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on June ! 1, 2002 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />Case #14: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Authorize Hiring of Community Development Assistant <br />Councilmember Anderson reviewed the Personnel Committee recommendation that the <br />City Council adopt Resolution #02-06-144 hiring Christopher Anderson for the position <br />of full-tilne Community Development Assistant at a starting wage of $17.27/hour plus <br />benefits and two weeks vacation, contingent on successful completion of background <br />checks, employment physical, and drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Persmmel Committee for Case 1. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, Kurak, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Receive Information about Resignation of Full-Time Human Resources Manager <br />and Authorize Recruitment Process to Hire Full-Time Human Resources Manager <br />Councilmember Anderson reviewed the Personnel Committee recommendation that the <br />City Council adopt Resolution #02-06-145 accepting Rhonda Heryla's resignation, with <br />regret, from the position of Human Resources Manager effective June 30, 2002, and <br />authorize staff to begin the process to fill the Human Resources Manager position. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Personnel Committee for Case 2. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
