Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-10-311 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1s~r PARTIAL PAYMENT TO BAUERLY BROS. INC <br />FOR 2004 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION B <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 11, 2004, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and <br />specifications and advertisement for bids on 2004 Street Maintenance Program - Division B, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 8, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-06-147 <br />awarding the bid for 2004 Pavement Maintenance Program - Division B to Bauerly Brothers in <br />the amount of $54,179.03, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Bauerly Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $54,179.03. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Bauerly Brothers, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 2004 Street Maintenance Program - Division B in the amount of <br />$54,179.03. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 12, 2004. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-10-311 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
