CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 25, <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />2002, m the <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and called <br />upon Councihnember Zimmerman to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik introduced Amy Dysler, the new intern for the <br />Community Development Department for the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec acknowledged the Lions Community Picnic held the first weekend in June and <br />thanked them for putting this together. He stated there were free meals for children in the <br />community under the age of 12. He also noted that the Public Works Department put in a lot of <br />work and time to set this up. He thanked the Lions and the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that on July 16 and 17, there will be a safety camp at Rum River Boy <br />Scout Camp, which would be for boys and girls in fifth and sixth grade. He stated it would be a <br />two-day, all day event.
