Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-11-350 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO INLAND UTILITY <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR I.P. #04-33 ALPINE DRIVE/156TM AVENUE STORM SEWER <br />PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 13, 2004, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for <br />IP #04-33 to Inland Utilities Construction in the amount of $33,350.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Inland Utilities Construction in the amount of $26,325.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Inland Utilities Construction <br />for Improvement Project #04-33 in the amount of $26,325.00. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of November 23, 2004. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />Kurak <br />Elvig <br />Cook <br />Pearson <br />Strommen <br />Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-11-350 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
