Three were released to their owners <br />and one was adopted. <br /> <br />· Lidar (Laser) <br /> <br />The PD purchased two laser radar units in 2004. The benefit of the units is that it <br />will allow officers to work radar in more congested traffic areas and give them a <br />better range to apprehend violators. In November, officers issued 68 speed <br />citations in Ramsey with 23 of those being issued using the new radar units. <br /> <br /> <br />
