intrOduced th~ folloWing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-0l- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTItORIZIN~ APPLICATION FOR 2005 COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City ofRamseyireeeived a request for proposal from Anoka County for <br />the Community Development Block Grant program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 5, 2005, COmmunity Development Staff submitted its CDBG <br />priorities for the 2005-2009 County ConsOlidated Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lot 1, Block 4, GatewayNorth Industrial Park Plat 2 has been identified as <br />a property in need of redevelopment by the EDA; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1, That the City of Ramsey hereby applies to Anoka County for 2005 CDBG funds in the <br /> amount of $300,000.00 for the acquisition of property for the purpose of reducing or <br /> eliminating slum or blight and caUsin~ redevelopment. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the forego~ing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being tal~en thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were ;absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 12th day of January, 2005. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
