FINANCE' COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a. regular meeting on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, <br />at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Elvig <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CAI,I, TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Finance el'ricer Lund indicated Case No. 17 of the regular City Council meeting agenda will be <br />discussed as Case No. 5 in the Finance Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Chairperson Elvig, to approve the agenda <br />as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: ChairpersonElvig and Councilrnember Zimmerman. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: Councilmember Strommen. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Review and Adopt 2005 Tax Levy and General Fund Budget <br /> <br />Finance et'rice Lund stated this is the same information as what was presented at the Truth in <br />Taxation meeting on Monday. The total amount, of the levy is $6,035,880. She advised there <br />was somc question as to whether the Mississippi River Storm Water Sub Drainage District can <br />continuc to be levied because the second phase of the project has not been authorized.
