Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br />Meeting Date: 01/25/2018 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />3. 2. <br />Title: <br />Review Draft Economic Development Chapter of Comprehensive Plan <br />Purpose/Background: <br />UPDATE: At the 01/11 EDA meeting, it was requested the EDA bring this case back for a second review. <br />Specifically, the EDA wanted to provide feedback and direction regarding long-term goals. As the Comprehensive <br />Plan reads today, most EDA goals are short-term/ mid-term. Community Development Director Tim Gladhill will <br />be leading a long-term goal setting session at this EDA meeting. <br />The purpose of this case is to review a draft of the Economic Development Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan and <br />make a recommendation to the Planning Commission. This Chapter will be an iterative review process as <br />subsequent chapters are completed.
