Monday, December 2, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on Monday, December 9, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. la) Adopt Resolution Approving Proposed 2003 HRA Levy by the EDA The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-09- 236 approving the recommendation of the EDA and approve the proposed HRA Levy for Payable 2003 and ltl that the Council discuss the HRA levy further at a future meeting 2) Review and Adopt "Proposed" 2003 General Fund Budget The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-09- 237 Adopting the Proposed 2003 General Fund budget. 3) Purchase of Replacement Manikins and Oxygen Equipment The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #02-09- 238, authorizing the purchase of replacement manikins and oxygen equipment for the Police and Fire Department utilizing monies fi:om the Equipment Replacement Fund not to exceed a total of $1,400. 4) Ebert Construction/SHE Payment issues re: Construction of Fire Station II The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council accept the SEH offer to indemnify the City on the pending $16,000 Ebert claim including defense costs and reduce the SEH bill, not to exceed $26,000. Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to ratify the recommendations of the Finance Committee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the recommendation of the Finance Committee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, and Anderson. Voting No: Councilmembers Hendriksen, and Zimmerman.
