Ms. Matilla inquired if there is damage done to their road from the developer will the developer <br />have to pay the cost to repair it. <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson replied yes. He noted that sewer and water for the development <br />will come from the south. <br /> <br />Ms. Matilla inquired, if sewer and water is coming from the south, would anyone who wanted to <br />hook up in the existing neighborhood have to do so from the back side of their property. <br /> <br />Principal City Engineer Olson replied that sewer and water would not be extended down 149th as <br />part of the Bright Keys project. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that they can't speculate as to what is going to happen with the <br />development. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak stated that the City has a schedule of how streets are maintained. <br />Principal City Engineer Olson reviewed the street maintenance program. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak pointed out that Ms. Matilla will not have to pay an assessment for <br />another five years for street maintenance. <br /> <br />Rick Christian, 7330 Alpine Drive NW, Ramsey, stated that the City did an excellent job on the <br />road. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to close the public <br />hearing for sealcoating projects 02-01 through 02-10. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 8:09 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to continue the <br />public hearing for projects 02-11 and 02-12 until 7:00 p.m. on October 8, 2002. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Hendriksen.
