The meeting was opened for public input. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt to close the public hearing at <br />9:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Jeffrey, <br />Shepherd, and Van Scoy. Voting No: Nonel Absent: Commissioners Watson. <br /> <br />Commission Input <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon noted this ordinance was based on a <br />similar ordinance from the City of St. Michael. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if there was a timeframe associated with the permit. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon stated it is tied to the build out of the <br />development. He noted they mainly wanted to regulate parking, and make sure they are placed in <br />a safe location. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey to recommend that City <br />Council adopt an ordinance to amend City Code Section 9.11 -Performance Standards. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Jeffrey, <br />Shepherd, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Watson. <br /> <br />Case #7 Staff Update <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald noted that they will be discussing the Comprehensive Plan update at the <br />work session on January 4th. She stated Staff is hoping to have the Planning Commission there <br />and to give options on the Comprehensive Plan review process. <br /> <br />Case #8 <br /> <br />Zoning Bulletin <br /> <br />The Zoning Bulletin was noted. <br /> <br />OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt thanked Commissioner Jeffrey for his support, and asked when Staff will have <br />an applicant for the position. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon stated they are advertising for it now. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/December 2, 2004 <br /> Page 18 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
