<br />Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #17-12-306 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE INCREASING THE IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN TO <br />FULL-TIME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the IT division's role is to maintain computers, software and systems, which <br />allow staff to perform effectively and citizens to have access to and assistance with up-to-date City <br />conference room space and the City website; and. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the workload of the IT division continues to grow and warrants full-time <br />hours; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> as a result of multiple budget discussions and feedback from staff, the City <br />Council included funds in the 2018 budget to increase the IT Support Technician to full-time. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #17-12-306 to increase Mr. Calvin Kubat, the part-time IT <br />Support Technician to full-time at 40 hours per week, effective January 1, 2018 <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br /> <br />
