WHEREAS, <br /> pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted July 25, 2017, <br />accepting bids and awarding a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Douglas-Kerr <br />Underground, LLC, Inc., in the amount of $701,270.54 for the total bid for construction of said <br />improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />as of January 9, 2018 $414,016.13 has been paid to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC. in the amount of $121,163.26. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Douglas-Kerr Underground, <br />LLC for Improvement Project #16-20 Riverdale Drive Extension Improvements in the <br />amount of $121,163.26. <br /> <br /> <br />2)That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of January 9, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br />4)That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Sarah Strommen <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #18-003 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
