CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING (CANVASSING) <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a Canvassing Board Meeting to canvass the results of the <br /> Special Primary Election, on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the he Ramsey Municipal Center, <br /> 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Councilmember John LeTourneau—Mayor Pro-tern <br /> Councilmember Jill Johns <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Members Absent: Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurds Ulrich <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Pro-tem LeTourneau called the City Council Canvassing Board to order at 5:31 p.m. <br /> 2. CITIZEN INPUT <br /> There was none. <br /> 3. APPROVE AGENDA <br /> Motion by Councilmember Johns, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to approve the agenda <br /> as presented. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: All present voted in favor. Absent: Mayor Strommen and <br /> Councilmember Riley. <br /> 4. COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> 4.01: Declare the Results of the February 13, 2018 Special Primary Election <br /> City Administrator Ulrich explained the purpose of tonight's Canvassing Board meeting is to <br /> accept and declare the results of the City's Special Primary Election for Councilmember At- <br /> Large. He noted the results as follows: 15,491 registered voters as of Election Day and 5 new <br /> persons registered on Election Day. The City accepted 44 absentee ballots.
