<br />8. Workforce
<br />The skills and training of the local workforce contributes to the local economy,
<br />influences economic development and also suggests potential demands of current
<br />residents. Table 12-7 shows the educational attainment levels in the community.
<br />Nearly two-thirds of Ramsey residents age 25 or older has a high school diploma
<br />or some college experience as their highest level of educational attainment. In
<br />contrast, less than six percent of the population has yet to attain a high school
<br />diploma, and almost one-third have attained an associates degree or even higher
<br />level of education. In general the educational achievement of Ramsey residents
<br />is very similar to the rest of Anoka County.

<br />9. Household Income
<br />The following tables describe the income levels of households in Ramsey as of
<br />2000. As shown in Table 12-8, approximately five percent of households in
<br />Ramsey make less than $25,000 a year, 52 percent make between $25,000 and
<br />$75,000, and 42 percent make more than $75,000 a year. Ramsey has a higher
