<br /> <br />Chapter X: Transportation <br /> <br />Introduction <br />The transportation system in Ramsey generally operates well today. The c <br />transportation system includes facilities for vehicles, freight, walking, bicycling and transit. <br />Facilities are operated by a number of agencies, including the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), Metro Transit, and the Burlington <br />Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway. <br />This transportation chapter has been prepared in compliance with State of Minnesota Statutes <br />and applicable Metropolitan Council guidelines. As part of this Plan, the city has reviewed <br />existing and future conditions for each mode and identified safety, operations, and network <br />improvements that will be important to address over the 2040 planning horizon.
